For the last five years, since 2021, the 8th District has hosted an annual Shred Day for members. The goal of the event is to allow members to bring in dated patient and X-Ray files for shredding and document destruction. Files older than six (6) years, can be discarded, based on state guidelines for patient record keeping.
The date of this year's event is Saturday, June 13th. This year's event is being sponsored in part by Ivoclar and Walsh, proud supporters of the 8th District Society.
The service is being performed by Lincoln Archives and begins promptly at 10am until the two trucks are full or until 1pm. Come early and make sure you separate both your patient files and X-rays in separate bins or containers.
